In the midst of rolling out its ground-breaking waste-to-energy conversion technology at multiple project sites worldwide, Enerkem has embarked on a digital journey to support rapid growth. The company needs a single automated platform for integrating disparate finance and operations systems that were prone to error and depended on manual entry. With each department having developed its own tools, Enerkem struggled with project managing, resource planning, supply chain visibility, inventory tracking and financial reporting. Leveraging our deep understanding of the construction and engineering sector, Thinkmax is proving the perfect partner in helping Enerkem streamline its processes and meet the challenges.
The project involves implementing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 cloud-based platform to unify finance and operations for all Enerkem entities worldwide. Since the demands of this multi-year endeavour are complex, we are proceeding in two phases: the first addressing financial accounting and the second, project management and accounting. To speed implementation and minimize business disruption, we have deployed our ConstructReady accelerator and ThinkAssurance project governance framework. Our approach emphasizes financial monitoring, business focus and risk mitigation.
