Putting a Spring in their Step

Helping pet-care retailer Mondou develop a new, omni-channel sales concept wasn’t just a matter of better serving customers. It was about helping pet owners enhance the health and happiness of the animals they love.

Founded in 1938, Mondou has a long and proud history of providing exceptional products and services to pets and owners. But this major pet-care retailer — with nearly 70 outlets in Quebec — is a forward-looking company determined to embrace a digital future. They approached us for help developing a unified retail offering with modern points of sales, seamless access across multiple touch points, and full front- and back-office integration. The aim was to provide superior, more personalized shopping experiences by tracking data, rewarding loyalty, and empowering associates with innovative tools to better engage and interact with customers.

To unify touchpoints and support modern point of sales, Thinkmax embedded the client’s legacy e-commerce and enterprise resource planning platforms in Microsoft Dynamics 365 in an Azure cloud environment. Our solution enhanced management of customer relations, loyalty cards, products, pricing, promotions, and inventories. Information is now completely synchronized across multiple systems. Crucial to our success was customizing solutions to integrate our Microsoft platform with the client’s existing systems based on third-party technology. This project strongly demonstrates our flexibility and expertise.
