Thinkmax is a growing company offering a highly energized, success-driven, fun, and collaborative environment. We want to expand our team by welcoming a Digital Managed Services Manager in our Support and Managed Services team. This individual will be responsible for assisting customers with the support of their eCommerce platforms, managing a team of Digital Developers and ensuring excellent customer service.  

You will be responsible for providing rapid support to our clients for the maintenance and evolution of their digital commerce processes and solutions. More specifically, you will be responsible for:  


  • Act as Digital Support Team lead, providing mentoring to junior resources, assisting in the recruitment process, interacting with other teams within Thinkmax, etc.  
  • Provide level 2 support for digital commerce platforms such as Optimizely, Insite B2B Commerce and D365 Commerce integrated with ERP’s including D365 / AX2012 platforms.  
  • Support digital commerce solutions in collaboration with business analysts and our clients.  
  • Analyze and propose solutions to customers based on best practices.  
  • Manage different levels of case severity and understand when escalation is needed.  
  • Work hand in hand with internal and external DevOps teams for code changes, coordination of code deployments, environment data copies, upgrades, and updates of the platforms.  
  • Manage requests with the product group / engineering group of our partners (Optimizely/Microsoft).  
  • Work with partner solutions.  
  • Understand customer change requests and estimate the effort required.  
  • Create functional design documents, write / complete scripts / tests to validate that the solution reflects customer expectations with transparency.  
  • Implement and deliver high quality and efficient eCommerce solutions for our clients.  
  • Develop innovative Web and Commerce solutions using the latest Optimizely and/or Microsoft technology stack.  
  • Apply development best practices within the development team and contribute to DevOps practices.  
  • Provide after-hours support (I.e., 24 x 7) for urgent situations related to the digital commerce solution and integration with the ERP platform when applicable.  
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, with the team and between teams.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or college diploma, computer science or a related discipline.  
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a developer.  
  • Strong analytical skills.  
  • Strong customer service skills. 
  • Autonomy, leadership, and teamwork.  
  • Excellent communication skills, in French and English, both oral and written. 


  • Mastery of object-oriented development in .NET C #.  
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and Razor.  
  • Experience in web development (HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery).  
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS.  
  • Excellent understanding of the software development cycle.  
  • Experience in REST API development (asset).  
  • Experience with a Front-End development framework: React, Angular, others (asset).  
  • Experience with digital commerce solutions such as Optimizely and D365 Commerce (asset).  
  • Experience with a CMS (asset).  
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Git (asset).
