Responsibilities

  • Prepare month end schedules and reconciliations;
  • Prepare month end adjusting entries;
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of accounts;
  • Document supporting month end files;
  • Reconcile and record transactions for credit cards;
  • Assist with AR and AP processes, act as back up when required
  • Participate in preparing the year end audit file
  • Actively participate in the improvement of internal processes.
  • Ensure the application of processes and internal controls;
  • Participate in various special projects when required.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent knowledge to participate in the full accounting cycle,
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written. With offices in Toronto, Moncton and the United States, the finance department is responsible for managing the activities of all our offices. To ensure quality internal service, bilingualism is required for this role;
  • Great sense of organization with a keen sense of priorities, autonomous and analytical mindset,
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (minimum intermediate Excel),
  • Rigor, attention to detail, focused on results and deadlines,
  • Professionalism and strong work ethic;
  • Demonstrated experience with a major accounting system (an asset);
